Academy launch with dosing awareness debut

Golden Coast is promoting a Dryden Aqua dosing awareness initiative after launching an innovative training academy that will be based at Newbury to provide professional pool and sauna tuition.

To mark the launch of the Golden Coast Academy, the company will be hosting a debut three-day programme dedicated to chemical dosing, ecological awareness and Dryden Aqua. The event will feature a presentation by Dryden Aqua Sales Manager and ISPE President Jimmy Lamb as well as a session covering installation and commissioning for all Golden Coast dosing systems.

Since its formation in 1977, Golden Coast has prided itself on its position at the forefront of the wet leisure industry, pursuing a customer-focused approach from start to finish. Now, just two years after becoming part of the Pollet Pool Group, the team is promoting the next level of progress from locations in North Devon and Newbury.

Along with being Europe’s largest distributor of sauna products, Golden Coast will be seeking to build on a wealth of knowledge within the wet leisure industry by sharing this experience with their partners and clients via the newly-launched Golden Coast Academy, which has an innovative new training centre that will offer a wide range of customisable educational programmes.

Split across two levels, the Golden Coast Academy in Newbury has been designed to support the pool-building trade by providing a wealth of world-class training opportunities in one place. On the upper floor, a specialised training room is equipped with live controllers, enabling hands-on learning experiences.

Meanwhile, on the ground floor, a purpose-built swimming pool showcases the latest innovations in lighting, Aquadeck covers, and flow fittings, as well as a fully functioning pool plant and Dryden SPACE System. In addition to this there will be a fully operational Tylo sauna for demonstrating the installation and functionality of sauna heaters.

The idea behind the Golden Coast Academy is to provide a versatile hub for all aspects of training in the pool industry. There will be a selection of diverse training options, from large open training days to flexible sessions tailored for individual businesses. Through this unique approach, the team hopes to empower pool builders and engineers with the confidence and expertise needed to effectively address challenges and execute their work with precision.

Going forward, the Golden Coast Academy will operate an open-door policy, welcoming visitors to explore the facilities, learn about Golden Coast’s range of products, and engage with industry experts at any time. The goal is to create a market-leading training facility that continuously adapts in line with consumers’ shifting needs.
