Bumper hot tub display promise

Organisers of the UK Pool and Spa Expo have promised that visitors will gain a bumper display of hot tubs during the fourth edition of the wet leisure showcase at the Birmingham NEC in November.

UKPSENov2015PictureLogoNew Events Director and UKPSE Organiser Claire Saunders is relishing the prospect of a quick return to the NEC for the second time in 2015, following the third outing at the start of the year, and has promised a large display from hot tub companies during the exhibition, which will be running from November 22 to 24 in the Pavilion Hall.

“Now with an exciting new dateline, positioned perfectly for companies to show their latest products and services, the UK Pool & Spa Expo is back and will be showing the largest selection of hot tubs anywhere in the UK,” said Claire.

“The Expo also delivers swimming pool suppliers, pool and spa ancillaries, maintenance and accessories making it your one stop shop for any wet leisure requirement.”

Claire reported that continuing their residency at the NEC has been a very conscious decision from the organising team, with the new Resort World opening this year the appeal to visitors, and the networking opportunities that are so important at these events will expand exponentially.

“The UK Pool & Spa Expo is proud to offer the UK an event that both trade and consumer visitors can attend, the event was created after listening to the industry and what they wanted,” added Claire.

“Entry to UK Pool & Spa Expo is free of charge, parking is complimentary and there is free wifi throughout the venue. Add to this an international airport, train station and motorway network and the decision is clear to return.”

Prices for exhibiting at UK Pool & Spa Expo include the Shell Scheme at £220 per sq.m, as well as space only prices of £175 per sq.m for up to 70 sq.m; £160 per sq.m for 71sq.m to 90 sq.m; and £155 per sq.m for 91 sq.m and over. All prices are subject to VAT at 20 per cent.

Exhibitors are entitled to receive free parking, free in hall lifting, free wi-fi and complimentary use of the private exhibitor lounge. There is also free space available in the New Product Zone for exhibitors on a first-come-first-served basis for those companies that meet the necessary criteria.

Meanwhile, hot tub and swim spa giant Marquis, which has recently received WhatSpa? Best Buy Awards for its four-seater Spirit and five-seater Ultimate Epic; and a WhatSwimSpa? Best Buy Award for its ATV (Aquatic Training Vessel) Ultimate; is among the main sponsors of the UK Pool and Spa Expo Awards night being hosted for the fourth consecutive time in conjunction with the exhibition at the Birmingham venue.

Open to the entire wet leisure industry, the awards ceremony is being held on Monday, November 23 in the Vox at the NEC from 5:30pm and will celebrate outstanding hot tubs design, swimming pools, swim spas, management and refurbishment and representatives from the industry.

Online voting accounts for 40 per cent of the overall vote. Voting by the Judging Panel, made up of industry representatives and professionals from all over the world, accounts for 60 per cent of the vote. At the discretion of the judges, any number of awards at multiple levels will be presented in any category.
