Coast Spas dealer Jennifer Angood at Hot Tubs at Home has plunged into promotion of the new Wellness Cascade Swim Spa after landing a clutch of top awards from her Canadian manufacturer supplier, including the brand’s highest European ‘Outstanding Customer Service’ accolade recognition.
During the Coast Spas International Dealer Meeting in Vancouver, which had a record attendance, Hot Tubs at Home came out top in the whole of the brand’s European network to land the ‘Outstanding Customer Service’ Award and was also ahead of other global retailers to achieve the ‘Outstanding Growth International 2014’ Award.
WhatSpa? Approved Hot Tubs at Home was also among the elite band of Coast Spas dealerships that received a ‘Platinum Club’ Award for ‘Performance of Excellence and Outstanding Achievement’ due to high sales figures in 2014 that Jennifer is hoping to eclipse this year with the help of the Wellness Cascade, pictured.
“Winning the ‘Outstanding Customer Service’ Award for 2014 was a very proud moment as only one award was issued for the whole of Europe,” enthused Jen.
“We were also awarded with the ‘Outstanding Growth International 2014’ Award. This is an International award that only Hot Tubs At Home received. Again, it was another very proud moment.”
Jennifer, who has been featured under the Hot Tub Retailer magazine’s ‘Retailer Interview ‘ spotlight, launched Hot Tubs at Home in 2006 in Towcester and has been going from strength to strength servicing Northamptonshire’s surrounding regions after introducing Coast Spas to her showroom in 2008.
It is open every day to promote an impressive display of the Coast Spas range among 18 hot tub models and other outdoor leisure products.
Her story of success has come despite establishing the business at a time when the global economy suffered a devastating crash that hit the majority of retailers within the wet leisure industry.
“We opened our doors with just three hot tubs on display at the moment the economy collapsed,” revealed Jen, who cut her teeth in the luxury retailing world in her youth by working in a jewellery shop run by her friend’s mother in Milton Keynes.
“Everyone thought we were crazy – our friends and families included! But we journeyed on and decided it wouldn’t beat us.
“We kept our stock levels low, our staff levels manageable, our outgoings low and debt even lower. After journeying through the last few years of the ‘Credit Crunch’, plus general negativity, with businesses struggling, we’ve worked hard and have come out on top!
“Now we have 18 hot tubs on display, log and thatch cabins and a 14ft swim spa, which are all bought and paid for.
“We’ve employed more staff in the last 12 months and we’ve just won the three prestigious awards from Coast Spas for our ‘Customer Service’, ‘Outstanding Sales’ and ‘Outstanding International Growth for 2014’.”
The dealership, which is among an elite group of businesses on the lively Bell Plantation Garden Centre site in Watling Street, also supplies NorthWind Hot Tubs, RotoSpa models, Softub products, and the Coast Spas Wellness Spas swim spa models for which it is now plunging into promotion for the new Wellness Infinity Swim Spa that was showcased to prospective retailers at the manufacturer’s IDM and features the distinctive infinity-edge design.
Coming in at 408 x 229 x 135cm with a non-float lounger among the three seats adjacent to the swim area, the Wellness Cascade has a dry weight of 998KG and a filled weight of 6184KG for the capacity of 5200L. It is the latest addition to the flourishing Wellness Spas range that includes the 2014 WhatSwimSpa? Best Buy Award-winning Wellness II model
The infinity edge is positioned above the powerful swim-current producing ‘River Jets’ of the Wellness Infinity, allowing the swimmer to view their environment while exercising.
“Now we will be adding the world’s first infinity-edge swim spa to increase our large display here in Towcester,” reported Jen.
“This Wellness Infinity model is a tremendous asset from Coast Spas, which we hope will help us to be even more successful in 2015 by bringing an even wider audience to our store and offering even more choice.”
