Mobile app enhances outdoor living showcase

A new mobile app will enable International Pool Spa Patio Expo visitors to quickly track down leading representatives of hot tub and swim spa brands who are seeking to enhance their dealer networks.

Among hundreds of exhibitors in the Bayside Halls B-D at the Mandalay Bay Convention Centre in Las Vegas this week will be 2015 WhatSpa? and WhatSwimSpa? International Pool Spa Patio Expo logo pictureLast year’s event was hosted in Florida for the first time in seven years and attracted 11,103 attendees and for the return to its traditional Las Vegas host venue organisers are promising to provide this year’s USA and international visitors with a wide variety of products to provide dealers with the capability to bring the ‘FUNdamentals of outdoor living’ back to their respective showrooms.

Organisers have also been promoting the fact that visitors can enhance their ability to efficiently devise their trade show plan and schedule using the Expo’s new mobile app, available for iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry users.

Tracy Garcia, CEM, Director of the PSP Expo, reported that the mobile app allows users to easily navigate the show floor, access exhibitor lists and profiles, the interactive show floor plan and conference level floor plan, the conference schedule, session details, and speaker profiles. In addition, it offers a personalised planner that can help attendees organize their Expo schedule – all in a matter of minutes.

 “By downloading the Expo’s free mobile app, attendees can quickly view the most up-to-date information including the floor plan, exhibitor details, educational sessions and more from any web-enabled mobile device,” said Tracy.

“The easy-to-use interactive capabilities and real-time event communications will the Expo experience more enjoyable than ever for attendees.”

APSP President & CEO Rich Gottwald, whose organisation is the Expo’s official sponsor this time round has also jumped on board to help to promote the mobile app to APSP members who are planning to visit this year’s event.

“I encourage our members to download the app and start using it to get the greatest value from their Expo experience,” said Rich.

“I personally use the mobile app to maximize my time on the show floor and to make sure I don’t miss key sessions.”
