Essential industry survey feedback

Golden Coast is spearheading the promotion of the annual Wet Leisure Industry Survey ahead of publishing data that will indicate how the past year compares with previous results.

The survey, which is in its 13th year, only takes a few minutes to complete, and Golden Coast General Manager Adam Clark has been appealing for essential feedback to help monitor how the wet leisure market is performing.

Survey responses are gathered into a report which will then be freely available to all via www.wetleisure.com or as printed copies at the record-breaking SPATEX 2024 being hosted from February 6 to 8 at the Coventry Building Society Arena. Responses are anonymous and may be quoted so that members from all areas of the sector have their voices and opinions heard.

“We want to hear from everyone. Whether you’re a distributor, manufacturer or an engineer, and from companies big and small,” said Adam; “The more feedback and data we can gather, the more informed the whole industry can be.

“The report is invaluable as it shows us where businesses have found opportunities as well as where they might have struggled. Everyone is still working through a cost-of-living crisis exasperated by spiralling energy costs and that will undoubtedly affect our sector in many ways. The survey report will give all businesses a wider perspective on the market and can help with making decisions further down the line.

“Over the course of the past 12 surveys we have conducted, we have seen so many interesting trends come and go and we can see how the industry has changed and adapted. That level of detail has only been possible thanks to those who complete the survey.

“We encourage anyone working in the industry to go online and take a look at the questionnaire. It only takes a few minutes to complete, and your feedback is essential in helping us monitor how the sector is faring. Plus, it could provide you with data you need to inform your business plan over the coming months.”

The Wet Leisure Industry Survey is supported by organisations including BSPF, ISPE, BISHTA and SPATA,. along with industry trade press. To provide feedback for the survey, and view all previous reports, go to: www.wetleisure.com
